What do you need to get started?

  • The foundation is empathy and a genuine desire to help seniors

  • No criminal record

  • Communication skills in English

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Be an Irish, UK, EU/EEA or Swiss citizen or hold a valid Stamp 4 or hold another immigration permission that explicitly allows you to be self-employed.

  • Before your first senior visit, you will need to become self-employed/sole trader (not needed for registration and information call)

  • Successful completion of the Viola Caregiver Verification

Viola is an online marketplace that connects self-employed carers to suitable home care clients. Viola is not your employer and, therefore, not your manager. There is no care manager directing how you should care for your client.
